One, two & three day flower tours
The West coast is truly a land of contrasts.
With the first rains in spring, these areas change into a kaleidoscope of colour.
Even if you are not a plant lover, a flower trip to the West Coast will be an experience to anyone who appreciates the beauty of nature.
The one day tour will take you to Postberg Nature Reserve, to spend half a day or more.
This reserve also offers us a great array of birds, antelope and reptiles.

From Postberg we continue on to Langebaan to have something for lunch. On our way back to Cape Town we explore the town of Darling - renowned for it's orchid shows. The magnificent display of wild flowers normally starts about mid August and continues through to the end of September.
The Two Day tour will follows the rout of the N7 towards Malmesbury, Moorreesburg, Piketberg. We will have a coffee-stop on Piekenierskloof Pass. On our way to Clanwilliam, we will have a second stop at Citrusdal. The cultivated wild flower garden of Ramskop Nature Reserve at Clanwilliam will occupy us for some time. We continue to Lamberts Bay where we will be occupied for some time. We continue to Lamberts Bay where we will overnight. The next morning is spent visiting the famous Bird Island before we depart back to Cape Town via Saldanha / Langebaan. |
